ReferencePro’s International Results are 99% Conclusive!

Your customers want degrees and past employment verified, or to know why they can’t be verified. In other words, they want conclusive results.

Only 1% of results provided by ReferencePro International are inconclusive. These are verifications eventually closed when the employer or school does not respond to multiple requests by all means of communication available.

We returned 88% conclusive and verified results on of all employment requests and 83% on all education requests in the past year. The remaining results considered conclusive are: no record found, records no longer available, school has a hold on the record, employer/school could not be located or they are out-of-business.

Our results are the product of years of relationship building. For instance, in China, ReferencePro is sanctioned by the Ministry of Education as one of only a few trusted verifiers with access to their fast-track process. It took years to establish that level of access. In the rest of the world we have similar close relationships forged through daily professional interaction with the people who provide the information we are after.

ReferencePro’s Domestic Results are 93% Conclusive!

It is our goal to provide our customers the best possible service. We have reviewed the 2008 results we produced in domestic services and found that we provided you with *conclusive results 93% of the time in less than 60 hours on average. By conclusive results, we mean we have either obtained the verification, or established that it was not possible to obtain, such as employers that could not find a record of the applicant, or would not provide a reference. Of the 93% that were conclusive, we verified over 75% of all employment and 85% of all education requests.

We are very pleased with those numbers but that still leaves 7% of the orders that were inconclusively closed as No Response. That means despite having gone through an extensive procedure to establish the verifying party or EVP, and making 3 Solid Attempts on 3 successive days supplemented by e-mail and/or fax and calling at different times, we received no reply. Short of actually going to the office of the non-responding school or employer, there is little anyone can do to force a school or employer to co-operate.  

However we are determined to drive down the 7% figure, so we are announcing new and additional steps we will be taking. 

Before we will close an order as No Response, we will first make the efforts described above. If that does not get a response then a senior researcher reviews the call history for adherence to our standard operating procedures (SOP) and to make sure we have done everything. Rather than closing orders at this point we now put them back in queue for 2 more attempts per day for 2 additional days.

As a result, if anything is closed with out a response, you can be assured that RefPro at a minimum has made 7 Solid Attempts after EVP.

In summary, if an order is closed No Response:

  1. RefPro went though an extensive EVP to make sure we were calling the right party.
  2. RefPro has made three solid attempts in three days.
  3. RefPro has supplemented the attempts with e-mail and fax if available.
  4. After the third attempt, a supervisor reviewed the order for adherence to our SOP.
  5. The order stayed open 2 more days and received 4 more attempts (unless a client wants orders closed in 3 days regardless).
